How we use information
Information may be used to generate previews, prepare purchased documents or summaries, process payments, provide customer support, improve the service, prevent abuse, and display relevant sponsored attorney advertisements based on location and issue category.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider. ResolveLetter does not store full payment card details on its own servers.
Attorney advertisements
Sponsored attorney placements are paid advertisements. We may use general location and issue category information to decide which advertisements to show. ResolveLetter does not recommend or endorse any attorney.
Data retention
We aim to avoid storing unnecessary information longer than needed to provide the service, support users, comply with legal requirements, prevent abuse, and maintain business records.
